Storage for the 2016-17 Season has come to a close. Our facility is full and we will begin taking applications in September 2017 for the 2017-18 storage season.

Watch the website in September for the application to complete. Returning customers will call the office to set up their storage arrangements.

A change for the 2017-18 season, you are not guaranteed a space until your application is complete, we have a copy of your insurance and you are paid in full. Your name will go on a waiting list until you have completed the application process. If you do not make it off the waiting list and the facility fills you will be left out. The Lucas County Fairgrounds fills every year so get your application in early so you are not left out in the cold!

  • All vehicles must be removed from the Lucas County Fairgrounds by Saturday, April 29 2017

    Any item not removed by Saturday, April 29, 2017 will incur a daily storage rate of $10. If any item is left past April 29, 2017 and the item needs to be relocated, the Lessee shall be responsible for any costs associated with moving the storage item; i.e., towing rates, labor rates, etc. As the removal date nears, a reasonable attempt will be made to contact the owner of all storage items reminding them of their out-take date. However, it is the Lessee’s full responsibility to remember and abide by the April 29, 2017 removal date, regardless if contacted or not.

    No vehicle will be released until all outstanding fees are paid.

    Terms of Storage Agreement

    1. Dates: The term of this agreement shall begin on
    2. Fees: In consideration for allowing storage on the Lucas County Fairgrounds, the Lessee agrees to pay the amount of $ payable no later than the in-take date.
    3. Late Fees: The Lessee may be charged a $25 restocking fee per week if the item is not removed on the assigned out-take date. If any storage item is left past April 29, 2017 and it needs to be relocated, the Lessee shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with moving the item; i.e., towing rates, labor rates, etc.
    4. Value: The lessee herby declares, warrants and represents that to the best of lessee’s knowledge and belief, the fair market value of the vehicle, as of the date of this agreement is ($ ).
    5. Loss and Damage: The Lucas County Agricultural Society makes every attempt to avoid loss and/or damage during vehicle in-take, storage and out-take. The Lucas County Agricultural Society assumes no liability of loss, damage or destruction of any kind to the vehicle, whether due to collision, fire, vandalism, theft, weather or otherwise except any damage directly attributable to the negligence of the Lucas County Agricultural Society. The Lucas County Agricultural Society’s liability is limited to the lesser of the fair market retail used-value or the amount declared on line four of this agreement. It is possible for birds to get into the buildings. We are not responsible for any damage caused by nesting/flying birds.
    6. Insurance: The Lessee, at his/her own expense, shall provide private insurance coverage for their vehicle. All lessees shall provide a copy of their Insurance Declaration Page to the Fair Board Office prior to in-take. The Lucas County Agricultural Society does NOT insure vehicles during the storage period. The lessee is also responsible for any damage to other vehicles, building(s), property or personnel caused by their vehicle.
    7. Inspections: All items shall be inspected prior to in-take. All vehicles shall be uncovered to allow for full inspection and photographs.
    8. Batteries: All batteries shall be disconnected at time of storage.
    9. Floor Covering: All vehicles shall have a floor covering (carpet, tarp, wood, cardboard etc.) to avoid oil or other fluid damage caused by the vehicle. A $50 clean-up fee will be charged for any floor damage caused by fluid leaks from lessee’s vehicle.
    10. Out-Take: Campers, boats and trailers will be removed from their storage buildings in the early hours of out-take day and relocated to an OUTSIDE designated location. It is the Lessee’s responsibility to report to the out-take location beginning at 1:00 p.m. where their item(s) are located and wait for a staff member to obtain a signature on their storage tag in order to complete the storage agreement. All vehicles must be removed from the Lucas County Fairgrounds prior to the close of business (4:00 p.m.). If unable to pick-up the vehicle prior to 4:00 p.m., contact/arrangements must be made with the Fair Office prior to out take date or a fee will be incurred.
    11. Early Removal: If any owner requests to remove a storage item prior to take-out date, a $150.00 fee will be imposed,
